Do you build the music around our crowd?

Yes. Every event gets a custom direction shaped around your room, your must-plays, and the people on the floor.

Can Proud cover more than the reception?

Yes. Ceremony and cocktail-hour sound can be added, along with uplighting, photo booth, hosting, and special effects.

What happens if there’s an emergency?

Your date is protected. A trusted fellow DJ — trained in Barry's booth and briefed on your full plan — steps in, so your night never goes without music.

Will you dress for the room?

Always. Barry and his team show up dressed appropriately for your event — suit and tie when the room calls for it, because presentation is part of the package.

Proud Entertainment is based in New Jersey and serves events across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

How much does a wedding DJ cost?

Proud Entertainment’s wedding packages run $1,595 to $4,595: Proud at $1,595, Prouder at $2,595, and Proudest at $4,595. A 25% retainer locks your date.

What’s the difference between the packages?

Party and Proud share the same base DJ setup — Party is black only, while Proud lets wedding clients choose black or white. Prouder steps up to two totems and one subwoofer; Proudest is the flagship with four totems and two subwoofers. Professional sound is included in every package.

Do you MC the wedding too?

Yes — MC hosting is $600 for up to five hours. Barry runs your introductions, announcements, and timeline so you don’t have to think about it.

How do we lock our date?

A 25% retainer locks your date — that’s the only thing that reserves it. Send the inquiry form and you’ll get a personal response from Barry himself, right away.

Do you guarantee your performance?

Yes — The Proud Promise. A 25% non-refundable retainer locks your date, with one free date transfer for any reason within 12 months. Anything you pay above the retainer is refundable until 7 days before the event. You don’t owe the balance until the party’s over. Barry bets on himself every single night.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover — plus bank transfer, Zelle, cash, and check. Every payment gets a written receipt from Barry personally.
