Send your guest door to the wedding party
One saved action opens the requests, the votes and the wall — your crowd starts the moment you send it.
Wins you’ve earned — and the next one
It stands open in Plan — your first answers are this rail’s first entries.
Unlocks the moment the countdown crosses into double digits.
One month out — final chart, final cues, final numbers.
Your wedding week opens, with the day itself one tap away.
The moment everything has been counting toward.
Your decisions, one at a time
Nothing decided yet — the ring is honest. Every decision you leave in your planner moves it. Nothing is counted here that is not yours.
The week in your wedding
- ✦Your planner stands open — nothing decided yet, and nothing counted that is not yours. What you decide in Plan begins the story of this page.
Your faces, at the door of the house
This house wears your faces. Set yours here, and every room greets you with them — an engagement portrait if you have one, a selfie from the couch if you would rather; no studio is required, and no photograph need be perfect. It need only be yours. Yours alone, besides: the portrait lives in your Suite and travels nowhere.
The night, in brief
The pleasures, built in
Eight rooms' worth of pleasures, newly built into your Suite — the reading of your crowd, the jail for songs that shall not pass, your guests' own chart, your music playing, and the moments worth framing. Each opens where it lives; in this house, everything has a room of its own.
Your hosts
Guest side only. This door opens the shared celebration. It does not open — and cannot reach — your hosts’ planning, payments or private Suite.
One song, from you
The wall opens with your hosts
Answer it in the composer — posting is two taps from anywhere on the guest side.
Welcome in. Tell us the song that will absolutely get you onto the floor — and add the photographs you catch along the way. This wall belongs to everybody celebrating with us.
Nothing here yet — the first post lands when a guest writes one. Tell your hosts the song that gets you onto the floor.
Vote with one tap
The night, as guests catch it
Guests appear by real display name only — no usernames, no handles. A guest can pull only what they themselves put up.
Your Suite
Your date is secure — and this is your planner: the room where your night gets composed. — days to go.
Planner access is open. Anything already on file for your booking stands exactly as recorded; nothing here needs re-answering. When you are ready, this is where your songs, your timeline and your names in lights get decided, one answer at a time.
Your decisions, one at a time
Nothing decided yet — and that is the correct place to start. Twelve decisions stand below, each one yours alone, each one at your pace. Nothing on this page can be altered by any hand but yours.
- ·Ceremony songsSongs for the walk in, any unity moment, and the walk back down — chosen when you are ready.
- ·Reception entrancesWho walks in, to what, and in what order — staged when you are ready.
- ·Must-play listThe songs Barry does not leave the building without playing.
- ·First dance songChosen when it chooses you — sealed the moment you know.
- ·Parent dancesFather–daughter, mother–son, or however your family dances.
- ·Do-not-play listThe songs that shall not pass — ruled in the Jail below.
- ·Reception timelineThe run of the day — built with you, held by Barry.
- ·Announcements & namesEvery name Barry says out loud, spelled the way it sounds.
- ·Vendor contactsYour team’s details, shared with Barry as they firm up.
- ·Bouquet & garter picksTwo songs; thirty seconds of thought.
- ·Guest song requestsYour portal opens when you share your guest door.
- ·Last dance songThe final song of the night — choose it as though it matters. It does.
Planning remains open until one week out — then the plan locks, so that the day may run itself. Thereafter, changes travel straight to Barry by call or text, the way they have always worked best.
Planning timeline
- NowSECUREThe date is yoursYour date is held on Barry’s calendar and off the market to everyone else — permanently.
- —ONE WEEK OUTPlanning locksOne week out, the planner closes for edits — on purpose. From here, a call or text to Barry changes anything.
- —THE WEEK OFFinal check-in callFifteen minutes with Barry: timeline, names, cues, and the weather plan. Then nobody plans anything else.
- The dayTHE DAYYou just show upEverything below this line is our charge. Yours is simply to be in the photographs — not in the group chat.
Your crowd, decoded
Five questions, answered by you in about a minute and entirely in your own words. There are no wrong answers. There are only wrong DJs — and Barry keeps this page close so that he never becomes one.
Your reading stands here once the five are answered — and Barry programs your night from it, hour by hour: dinner kept warm and familiar, a floor that opens on a song the whole room can sing, a crest programmed as a crest deserves, and a final hour that rides your guests’ chart.
The five may be retaken at any time before planning locks. Should your crowd change its character, the night will change with it.
Taken from the couple’s own answers · Filed with Barry
The condemned
Every couple keeps a list of songs that will not be played at their wedding — not by request, not by tradition, not by any uncle whatsoever. These are yours. Barry receives this list before he builds a single set, and he guards it like a verdict.
Your rulings are final, and they pass directly to Barry’s list for the night. He enforces them without exception — no appeals at the booth, no bribes accepted. Should mercy strike later, any case may be reopened here until planning locks, one week out.
Your names, in lights
The doors open upon the horns. Barry brings you in over the first verse — "For the first time as husband and wife" — and the entire room rises with the beat. This is the moment as Barry hears it in his head while he builds it.
- Your wedding party · staged in PlanEvery entrance is staged here in order — who walks in, to what, and how Barry calls them in. Your own entrance closes the program, and the largest moment of the evening.Your songs
The order, the songs, and the pronunciation of every name stand locked to this list. Should a name be spelled other than as it sounds, amend it here and Barry's announcement sheet follows — that, in truth, is the entire reason this page exists. Barry announces. The room does the rest.
The music, at the heart of it
Your player lives here. Paste your Spotify playlist link below and the songs you are choosing between play right here — in the very room where you choose them.
Want to hear the room work first? Preview a sample playlist — then paste your own link and this becomes your player, playing your songs. Signed into Spotify, you hear them in full; signed out, you hear generous previews — quite enough to settle an argument.
-
First danceYour first danceSealed further down this very room — when you know, you know
-
3:35September — Earth, Wind & FireMust-play · an entrance — and the ignition Barry counts on to open the floor
-
4:41Thinking Out Loud — Ed SheeranThe slow-dance set · a classic, held for the moment the room needs air
-
3:23Levitating — Dua LipaMust-play · open floor
This is no illustration of a player. It is the playlist itself — the very one you are building — playing while you plan. Hear a song anywhere in the world, add it here, and it takes its place upon your must-play list for Barry to build around. Nothing in it was suggested by us; every track is one the two of you chose.
Signed into Spotify? You get full songs. Not signed in, previews still play — enough to know if a song makes the cut.
No requests yet
- Guests request, and guests vote. Anyone holding your link may ask for a song and cast votes for the requests of others — the chart ranks itself accordingly.
- You promote. Any pick you star is elevated to your must-play list, guaranteed in writing — Barry plays your list first, always, and without exception.
- The Jail outranks everything. A request for a condemned song receives a courteous note and an invitation to choose another — your inmates remain in their cells.
- Barry holds the final say on the night. The chart is the crowd's voice — counsel, not command. He reads the floor in the moment and plays the winners when they will land hardest.
- Voting closes one week out. The standings then lock, and the head of the chart becomes the request bank from which the final hour is drawn.
Nothing upon this chart will surprise Barry — he watches it alongside you, and it shapes the night he builds. A song your people have voted for is a song they will dance to as though they own it.
Not yet sealed.
Some couples deliberate for months. Yours will simply be known.
When you know, you seal it here — and the story of how it chose you is entered into the record, for the two of you alone. Only the two of you may see the song within these walls; your guests receive the announcement below, and never the title.
It posts anywhere your photographs do. The card bears your names and your date; your venue remains private, and the song's title appears nowhere upon it. Curiosity is the entire design — the comments will attend to the rest.
The floor is ours to mind
- ◷Barry arrives a full hour before the first note — set, sound-checked, and perfectly calm before a single guest has walked in.The setup dressed in black, every cable taped, the uplighting placed — so that when your doors open, the room already appears finished.
- ♫Your day-of command card appears here on the morning of your day: entrances, announcements, and every cue in its order. The very card Barry works from — you will see precisely what he sees, in the order in which he sees it.
- ✆One tap reaches Barry directly, all day — no group chats, no intermediaries.Should anything move — a toast runs long, a surprise speech materializes — a single message re-times the entire night around it.
- ☂The weather plan is already written. Should your ceremony move indoors, the identical timeline runs inside — Barry and the venue's coordinator hold the rain script, so that you never have to.The décor moves; the music does not change. Your guests will never know a decision was ever required.
Your day, at a glance
-
—Your timeline builds in PlanCeremony, cocktails, entrances, the first dance, dinner and the party — each placed as you decide it, at the hours of your own day. This page engraves what your planner composes; nothing here is borrowed from another couple’s night.
Times are a plan, not a promise the day has made — Barry re-times in the moment, around speeches, sunsets, and a floor that refuses to sit down. The night bends long before it breaks.
Your night, in numbers
This page completes itself on the morning after your wedding — the true counts, taken from Barry’s board and your gallery: every song played, every request honored, the hours the floor stayed full, and every photograph your people gathered. Until then it stands honestly empty: no borrowed numbers, no other couple’s night.
A member's privilege: send a couple our way, and your next celebration carries member pricing — while their date receives a first look before it opens to anyone else. This page is also the permanent home of your highlight reel and your complete setlist.
This page never closes. Once a member, always a member.
The guest gallery
The whole night on one wall — your guests' photographs and films beside Proud's own cameras, your favorites pinned at its head, and all of it kept in your Suite, forever. The wall itself has its own room now:
Married life members — once a member, always a member.
Membership does not end when the sparklers do. Your Suite remains open for precisely as long as you wish it — and here is what continues to happen within it, of its own accord, every year.
Every year upon your anniversary, your first-dance song arrives here with a note from Barry — composed for that year, never copied from this one. The date remains yours, and so does the song.
Your highlight reel, your photographs, and the night's complete setlist reside in your Suite permanently. Return and press play whenever you please.
Send a couple our way and the care is returned — member pricing upon your next celebration, first claim upon prime dates before they open to the world, and a DJ who already knows your crowd by name.
The guest gallery
Your photographer will compose the day as it was staged. Your guests caught it as it felt — from the third row, from the bar, from the middle of the floor itself. Everything they made has gathered here — the photographs, and the little films too, forty seconds of the floor going off at a time — newest first, in the order the night surrendered it. And it is not the couple's archive alone: this is the wedding's one shared wall. You two, your guests, and Proud's own cameras all pour into a single river — and everyone at this wedding both adds to it and gathers at it, in this one spot.
Add yours — a photograph, a video, that forty seconds of the floor going off. The wall fills because everybody pours in; leave your own night on it before you leave the room.
Control the guest door
These controls belong to the couple alone. The address never changes. Rotating the code kills the old guest code immediately; closing the door rejects every guest code until you reopen it.
The guest code opens the guest side only. It is not a member key.
Two logins · one Suite
- HostIndividual member login · hostActive
- Co-hostIndividual member login · co-hostActive
There is no shared member code. Each member enters as themselves; guests never use a member login.
Guests on this door
- No guests on this door yetThe list stands here when your people arrive.
Removing a guest revokes that person’s access at the guest door. Their name stays attached to anything they already shared; pulling shared content remains governed by the wall rules above.
The couple's favorites
Everything, as it arrived
Nothing on the wall matches — yet. The night is still arriving.
Your copy, always — take it whenever you like; ours stays here regardless. Every photograph and every film on the wall, in one keepsake archive: download it the morning after, or in ten years. It will be here.
One promise, printed plainly where every guest can read it: a photograph or a video given here lives in this room, and in this room only — unless the friend who made it turns on the little switch marked feature this photo or video. The switch rests off. Nothing travels further, and no face goes public, without its maker's own word.
And anything on this wall can be pulled from view — by the friend who made it, or by you two. Pulling is not deleting: a pulled frame retires into your vault, out of every gallery and off this wall, kept safe and never shown again.
Everything from the night lives here — kept forever. This room is yours.
Message Barry
A song idea at midnight. A change to the timeline. A worry you would rather not voice in the family group chat. All of it comes directly to me — not to a call center, not to an assistant, and not to a machine wearing my name. If I am on the decks when it lands, it is answered the moment the set breaks; if I am awake, it is answered as you send it. Planning questions, family diplomacy, a dream you had about the seating chart — all of it is in bounds, all of it welcome.
"P.S. — If it matters to your night, it belongs in this thread. Nothing is too small, and nothing is too strange. — B"
Upon the day itself, a text is swiftest. For everything before it, this thread keeps the whole correspondence in one place — any answer, retrievable at any hour.
The Prouder Package
The Proud Promise: your balance is not due until the party is over. Settle early, here, whenever you wish — or give it no further thought until the last dance is done. Either way is genuinely, entirely fine.
By card or by bank, without leaving your Suite — a proper receipt arrives in your email the moment a payment confirms. No invoices will chase you; no payment links will arrive from strangers.
SAMPLE STATEMENT — demo figures · The Prouder Account · Rendered by hand
How payments work — stated plainly
Your retainer locked the date and is non-refundable — it is what removes your date from the market for everyone else. Anything paid above the retainer is refundable upon cancellation seven or more days out; within seven days, it becomes credit toward a new date inside twelve months. Need to move the date? One transfer is yours, free, at full dollar value — you settle the difference should the new date cost more, and you never lose a dollar should it cost less. Questions on any of it: ask Barry, above. He answers himself.
Day-of essentials

- ◷He is there a full hour earlySet, sound-checked, and serene before your first guest arrives.

- ✉One week out: calls and textsPlanning locks one week out — anything whatsoever after that goes straight to Barry, and it still gets done.
One room for every couple Barry has ever played for — and every couple still counting down to their night. The married pour the advice; the engaged ask the questions. Nobody sells anything here, and nothing said here leaves here.
Welcome in — mind the step, the floor's still warm. If we played your wedding, this room is yours for good; if your date is still coming, sit close to the married ones — they've seen things. The house rules are carved by the door. This week's standing thread: first-dance songs — drop yours in the thread below, with the story of why it's the one. New couples: introduce yourselves. The alumni don't bite. They slow-dance.
The room showing off: every first dance Barry has ever played, one per couple, with the story of how it chose them back.
Alumni counsel, hard-won and handed down free: the things nobody tells you until your own night teaches you at full price.
Planning questions, answered by the only people truly qualified: the ones who stood exactly where you're standing, in the same shoes, a season earlier.
Is the extra lighting package actually worth it?? We're at the stage where everything arrives as an “upgrade,” and I've lost the ability to tell what's real. Our room is already beautiful. Will anyone honestly notice — or is this secretly the thing that makes the photographs? Alumni, be brutal.
Brutal, as requested: it was the best money we nearly didn't spend. The Smithville Inn is all dark wood and low ceilings, and without the wash it photographs like a cave. With it, dinner glowed amber — our photographer said the room did half her job for her. Nobody all night said “nice lighting.” They said the evening felt expensive. That's the lighting, working exactly where you can't see it.
Seconding Katherine, for the reason that never makes the brochure: the photographs your guests take. The professional's shots would survive anything. But every phone picture from our floor at McLoone's looks composed, because the room was lit instead of flashed. My mother-in-law's candid of our first dance — taken on a five-year-old phone, from her seat — is framed in our hallway. And for the record: Barry never upsold us. Another couple's album in this room did.
Through the door this week: Jess & Tom — November '27, who asked the room the question above before they'd even finished their first drink. The house has said its hellos — 34 and counting. When your date books, your welcome is carved here too.
Kindness, always◆No vendor-bashing — names stay home◆Your photographs only, never another couple's◆What's Barry's stays Barry's
Sealed room — members only. Nothing here is public, posted, or searchable; what's said in the Saloon stays in the Saloon.
